About Us

Founded in early 2000, Buckeye Lake Barge Co. was the first of its kind on Buckeye Lake to provide lakeside construction services at scale. Beginning with the entrepreneurial vision of its founder, Bob Dillow, and a simple ad in the paper selling a commercial-use barge out of St. Louis, Buckeye Lake Barge Co. was officially borne in 2001.

 

Bob, a central-Ohio native, has been able to execute this vision of providing high-quality services in dock building and repair, boathouse construction, seawalls (of various materials), dredging, and rip rap thanks to his expertise of the lake, state-of-the-art equipment, and strong attention to detail for each customer.

 

As its success has grown, so has the business: Buckeye Lake Barge Co. is now officially a second-generation small family business, run almost entirely by son Bobby Dillow, who continues the Co.'s reputation in delivering top-notch lakeside construction services with exquisite attention to detail.
